" O'Connor Named to List of Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® "

Michael J. O'Connor, founder of Michael J. O'Connor & Associates, a law firm with 15 offices throughout Pennsylvania, was selected and named as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer in the field of workers' compensation law as published in the June 2004 edition of the Philadelphia Magazine. Pennsylvania Super Lawyers represent the top five percent of attorneys across the State. Selections were made in accordance with a three-step process. Initially, a general survey was sent to attorneys throughout Pennsylvania. The attorneys were asked to vote based on their personal observation of the candidate's legal abilities, rather than purely on the candidates reputation. Thereafter, a screening process was performed by an attorney-lead staff who assigned points based on each candidate's credentials. Finally, the candidates were divided according to each candidate's area of practice. A blue ribbon panel of attorneys then reviewed the candidates who practiced within the same area of the law and assigned each candidate a numerical score. Point totals from all three steps were totaled and the attorneys who scored in the top five percent were selected as Pennsylvania Super Lawyers.
