In order to apply for Social Security benefits, what must I do ?
There are three options offered by the Social Security Administration for filing a disability claim.

Finally, you may file your claim as a walk-in at your local Social Security office, however, you will be required to wait for an available representative. There is the possibility that it may only take minutes however it could also take several hours in order to meet with the representative, so be prepared to wait if you select this option.
