Williamsport, Pennsylvania Workers Compensation/Personal Injury

Every summer in late August, thousands of people from around the world converge on Williamsport, Pa., to attend one of the most famous sporting events ever created, the Little League World Series. The city is the birthplace of Little League baseball, with the establishment of a three-team league in 1939. From that came the development of the Little League World Series with the first one being held in 1947. It is televised around the country and around the world on ESPN and ABC television. Nationally known celebrities and some figures from Major League Baseball attend.

Like any other community, there is much more to the north-central Pennsylvania city than just one event. Williamsport is the county seat of Lycoming County with a population of 29,304. In the past, Williamsport was called the “Lumber Capital of the World” with a thriving timber industry. Its local high school sports teams have the nickname of the Millionaires because at one time, the city had the most millionaires per capita of any city in the world.

Today, Williamsport is home to many thriving industries and employees. The top employers include Susquehanna Health, the Pennsylvania College of Technology, Brodart Company Spring Window Fashions, Weis Markets, West Pharmaceuticals, Shop Vac Corporation, and Textron Lycoming Engines. It is also home to Lycoming College.

The area is also thriving once again thanks to Marcellus Shale drilling in the surrounding area. Lycoming College is located in the city as well as the Commonwealth Medical College. The city is also the home of a minor-league baseball team. The Williamsport Cross Cutters, an affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, play in the New York-Penn League at historic Bowman Field, the oldest professional baseball stadium in the country.

I only talked to Anna she was super!! I don't see anything you can do to make it better or easier. I feel bad it took me long to pay you. I never thought I would get approved in five months. I loved what you all did for me. Sandra S.
