The 3M Bair Hugger Forced Air Warming Blanket is a disposable medical device used to prevent and treat hypothermia in patients during surgery. An estimated 170 studies have shown that the Bair Hugger has been the cause of significant increases in deep joint infections when compared to conductive fabric warming methods.
