O'Connor Law's Attorneys Named Super Lawyers and Rising Stars

O'Connor Law is proud to announce that Attorney Michael J. O'Connor has been named a Super Lawyer and Attorney James M. O'Connor have received the honor of Rising Stars.

Attorney Michael J. O'Connor has been named a 2021 Super Lawyer for Workers' Compensation. Attorney O'Connor was first selected as a Super Lawyer in 2004 and has continued to receive this award for eighteen consecutive years. In addition to being named Super Lawyer, Attorney O'Connor is also a 2021 Best Lawyer, a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and received an Avvo rating of 10.

The title of Super Lawyer is given to attorneys that are considered to be in the top five percent of attorneys in each state. They are also chosen by their peers, in addition to research conducted by Law & Politics. In order to become eligible for this honor, attorneys must complete a three-step process. This includes a nomination by an attorney's peers that appears on ballots to all lawyers located in the state who have been in practice for at least five years. The nominations are to be based on personal observation rather than on reputation.

Attorney James M. O'Connor has received the title of Rising Stars by Super Lawyers for personal injury.

Being Rising Stars, both attorneys represent the top 2.5% of all attorneys in the state of Pennsylvania. To become eligible for this title, attorneys must be under the age of forty or have practiced for less than ten years. Law & Politics selects Rising Stars through an extensive nomination and polling process. Rising Stars recognizes the top upcoming attorneys in the state of Pennsylvania.
