Reading Workmen’s Compensation/Personal Injury, Pennsylvania

More than any other city in Pennsylvania, Reading virtually symbolizes the rise of the American Industrial Revolution both in history and present times. The city is known worldwide by billions of people who play the Monopoly board game, which has Reading Railroad as one of the properties.

Reading still has trains crossing the region through the Norfolk Southern Line. The city still has a progressive economic climate where there is always new construction and businesses opening up in various parts of the city and surrounding Berks County. Its proximity to other metropolitan areas such as Philadelphia (the state’s largest city), Allentown-Bethlehem (Lehigh Valley), Lancaster, York, and Harrisburg (the state capital) make Reading a good place to commute to work as well as find it.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike connects to Reading from the South and Interstate 78 does the same thing to the north making it an easy travel destination from major cities such as New York, Baltimore, Washington and Pittsburgh.

Today, the city is home to minor-league professional sports teams such as the Reading Phillies in baseball and Reading Royals in hockey. It has a new arena called the Sovereign Center that hosts concerts as well as sporting events. Businesses such as Carpenter Technology and Penske Truck Leasing are based in the city. It is the home of two hospitals, Reading and St. Joseph’s. It has two four-year universities, Albright and Alvernia, as well as the Reading Community College. In nearby West Reading, there is a giant outlet complex that includes business such as Bachman Pretzels and Lee Jeans.

In addition, there are malls and shopping complexes that surround the city. Pennsylvania Route 61 begins in the center of town and goes directly north into Schuylkill County and the lower Anthracite Coal Region. It is here where the main office of O’Connor Law is located in Frackville, Pa. Reading is considered an extension of the lower Anthracite Region since coal was shipped to market via Reading through the railroads and barges on the Schuylkill River.

Our firm has had a continual presence in the city since its inception with an office on 606 N 5th St #4. I only talked to Anna she was super!! I don't see anything you can do to make it better or easier. I feel bad it took me long to pay you. I never thought I would get approved in five months. I loved what you all did for me. Sandra S.
